Dr. Kievman
Dear Dr Carson,

Happy New Year!

This is an exciting time in the development of SoBe Music Studio. In the future, SoBe Music Studio will become the School of Music within a new Institute of the Arts on Miami Beach. Our plans are in motion for numerous organizational changes. Group Classes are now forming. New After- School & Summer Camp programs are being planned. Our major proposal to the City of Miami Beach has been completed to move into city buildings for a campus within the new Cultural District and begin a city-wide Music for Youth program. Our progress can be measure in steps: 1, Our move into the new campus; 2, consolidate all current activities (music lessons, classes & workshops and Music for Youth After-School & Summer Camp Programs); 2, Expand our community programs to include Theater, Creative Writing, Visual Art, Dance and Film; 3, Recruit a world- class faculty and students for university program of MBArts and build additional classroom space; 4, Miami's Institute of the Arts for Bachelors and Masters Degrees opens; 5. Complete construction plans which will include a major new building for a concert hall, theater, offices, and classrooms. Additionally, existing buildings in the area will be converted for Faculty and Student Housing as well as additional studio space. This is, naturally, a long- range plan that will be put together step-by-step. Please join us on our journey.

Best Regards,

Carson Kievman, PhD
